Next week is GDC and I’m attending! Looking forward to meeting fellow indie developers, making new friends, and playing prototypes. Along with mobile and casual lectures, the summit pass gives access to the Independent Games Festival Wednesday night. I foresee many pints and good times.

If you’re going too, give me a shout at @binaryrebels!

As the year closes we wish you all a joyful Christmas and a wild New Year! It’s been a busy season for all of us but we are working on a little something. Ninja Dinosaur Showdown’s UI isn’t as pretty or as intuitive as it could be so we’re polishing it up!

Now time for some partying..

In the midst of testing the iPad version we sometimes run into interesting situations.

Say what?! We just released the free version today, so if you wanted to try before you buy, here’s your chance. It includes the tutorial episode 0 and most of Episode 1, enough to get your feet wet. And hey, if you enjoy it, rate it too!

As for us, work on the iPad version is progressing, and should arrive.. shortly!

Just a quick update that adds a few new music tracks to the game from Lawrence Steele of Satsuma Audio. So your ear drums don’t explode.

We just got back from PAX Prime and PAX Dev and it was great! We met a ton of awesome indie devs and played some new games you should definitely watch for. We were particularly enamoured with Don’t Starve, a 2.5d survival game that harkens back to Minecraft’s early survival gameplay, but expands to it and adds a very cool macabre look. Also in attendance were Monaco and Johann Sebastian’s Jouste, always crowd pleasers.

Way too many indie games to count, if you have the chance I highly recommend you attend a PAX. (If you’re in Australia you’re also in luck as they recently announced PAX Aussie Edition.)
